Tattoo artists start off with raw talent. You cannot expect to become a skilled tattoo artist if you are someone who has a problem coloring outside the lines in a coloring book. That said, if you want something bad enough and are willing to work very hard and learn you can succeed at most anything. Please do realize that tattooing takes a long time to learn. You can expect training to be anywhere from a year to several years, depending on the time you devote to learning.
